Christmas Tree Recycling Jan. 8-18, 2018

Tree LightsHoliday tree collection will take place on your regular garbage collection day during the second and third week (Jan. 8-18) of January 2018 only. All trees collected will be recycled by Roy Strom Co. instead of being placed in the landfill.

Please remove ornaments, lights, wiring, and any decorations. Also remove plastic bags and any string or wires used to move the trees to the curb. Trees placed on the curb beyond the third week of January will require you to arrange a special pick-up with the waste hauler.

Holiday light removal

Temporary exterior holiday lighting (Christmas lights) are permitted for a maximum of ninety (90) days. Please remove all exterior lighting decorations after your celebration of the season. All temporary lighting will need to be removed by April 1, 2018 at the very latest. If you do not plan to use them again, don't throw them in the trash, RECYCLE THEM! Visit SCARCE for drop-off locations.

Leaf, yard waste pickup

As a reminder, please do NOT leave brush and yard waste on the parkway. The final week for yard waste pick-up was this past December 8 of 2017. A special pick will need to be arranged with your waste hauler.
