This project consists of the reconstruction of North Charles Avenue from St. Charles Road to Oak Street. The project includes combined sewer separation. The project also includes replacement of the existing 4'' water main. Some selective sanitary sewer system improvements are also included.
This project consists of road pavement reconstruction of areas of Maple, Pine, Oak, Myrtle, Summit, and Division and the separation of any combined sewers located in those areas.
The sanitary sewer separation and related work for Maple Area Improvement Project were financed by the Water Pollution Control Loan Program (WPCLP) State Revolving Fund (SRF). The SRF program is administered by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and receives a portion of its money to fund these types of projects from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
