The Village Manager is the chief administrative officer of the Village responsible for the professional management of all departments and operations of the Village. The Village Manager’s office is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of all municipal services as defined by the Villa Park Board in the Village's Strategic Plan. Residents may address general inquiries to the Village Manager’s Office. Specific issues or project concerns may be referred to the appropriate department to ensure that the matter is addressed in a comprehensive manner.
Villa Park is represented by a President/Board of Trustees form of government. Our officials are elected at large for staggered four year terms.

Our dedicated and hard working employees are either exempt, or represented by one of four different unions including:
- Metropolitan Alliance of Police (Villa Park Chapter 24)
- Villa Park Professional Firefighters Association (Local 2392)
- Illinois Fraternal Order of Police
- American Federal State County Municipal Employees (AFSCME Local 964)
