Upcoming Important Days: Village Board Meeting** - April 27 || 7 p.m. || Village Hall
** The Village appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as communities across the globe attempt to practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The Village remains committed to a transparent and open government. Participation in these meetings is encouraged in any of the following ways:
1 - Email your questions to Village Manager Keehner in advance of the meeting at rkeehnerjr@invillapark.com. Manager Keehner will read the comments into the public record at the appropriate time.
2 - Watch the meeting live on YouTube by following the Village of Villa Park or on the Government Access Channel (Comcast Channel 6, and AT&T Channel 99).
3 - If members of the public are interested in attending in person, and are symptom free, social distancing will be utilized to mitigate the community spread of disease.

- Spring Sweep (May 16)
- Senior's Fair (May 13)
- Summerfest (June 19 & 20)
- All commission meetings through May 31 (EXCEPT Village Board meetings)

Free Food Distribution The Islamic Foundation will be holding a free food and groceries distribution to all community members in need on Sunday, April 19, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This event will be held at the Islamic Foundation, 300 W. High Ridge Road, Villa Park, IL 60181.

Path Etiquette & Safety Outdoor activity is included as an essential activity. However, residents are reminded to maintain social distancing practices while running/biking/walking in public areas such as the Prairie Path. Please use these trail safety and etiquette guidelines provided by the DuPage County Forest Preserve.
- Stay home if you're sick or have been near someone who is sick.
- Visit only with members of your household.
- Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose.
- Practice social distancing, and stay at least six feet away from others.
- Do not meet friends, gather in groups, or go on group runs, rides or hikes
- Do not touch signs, benches, shelters or other features.
- Keep dogs leashed at all times.
- Stay on the right side of the trail so others can pass.
- All restrooms are closed, so plan your visit accordingly.

Refuse Collection Updates For the safety of Roy Strom employees, only waste that is inside a collection container or bagged and tied shut will be collected at this time. Bulk items such as mattresses, couches and construction material WILL NOT be collected until further notice. Please contact Roy Strom at customersupport@roystrom.com with any questions or concerns.

Recycling updates For the safety of employees, if you or a member of your family has COVID-19 (or has any similar symptoms), please bag all recyclables and place them in your trash/refuse cart. As a reminder please do not recycle medical supplies such as: plastic gloves, masks and medical tubing.

Yard Waste Pickup Yard waste pickup has resumed as scheduled on April 1, 2020. A prepaid Yellow Yard Waste sticker must be affixed to each bag or can set out. You can purchase in store at any of these locations (please call to verify hours of operation) or online here.
**Note if you order online, your tags will be mailed out via US Postal Mail, expect your tags to arrive within 3-5 days.

Shop Local The Village will be adhering to State restrictions prohibiting indoor dining at local restaurants. Many local establishments will continue to operate drive-up or drive-thru service in compliance with this directive. Residents are encouraged to connect with individual locations and support local Villa Park businesses where practicable. - To view a list of Villa Park restaurants offering curbside pickup and delivery options, visit the Yes Villa Park website. Contact Director of Economic Development Burke, patburke@invillapark.com to have your restaurant listed.
Please Note: Customers cannot consume alcoholic beverages if waiting for pick up in a restaurant. The Executive Order mandates no on-site food or beverage consumption.
