Villa Park Named Tree City USAVilla Park has earned the recognition as a 2017 Tree City USA. This year marks the 33rd year the village has received this accolade. Villa Park is one of more than 3,400 Tree City USA communities, with a combined population of 140 million. The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters.
Villa Park achieved Tree City US recognition by meeting the program's four requirements: having a tree board or department, a tree care ordinance, an annual community forestry budget of at least $2 per capita, and an Arbor Day observance and proclamation.
In honor of Arbor Day, the Village of Villa Park will host a tree planting ceremony on Friday, April 27, 2018, at 10:00 am near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and the Illinois Prairie Path.

Please Keep Storm Inlets Clear of Debris Spring is here, which means warmer weather and rainfall. Please be sure to keep storm inlets free of clogs during the wet season to help reduce flooded streets,
Clogged inlets prevent storm water from entering the sewers, which causes standing water in the streets and potentially ice if temperatures reach freezing.
Help your community by keeping storm inlets clear of debris!
