Arbor Day tree planting at North Terrace Park

Village staff was all smiles as they planted a brand new tree in celebration of Arbor Day at North Terrace Park on April 26. This is the Village of Villa Park's 34th consecutive year being recognized as an official National Arbor Day Foundation "Tree City USA"!

To become a Tree City USA, a community must meet four standards: a tree board or department, a tree care ordinance, a comprehensive community forestry program and an Arbor Day observance.

We are happy to continue our efforts towards maintaining a green community! To learn more about Tree City USA, visit the Arbor Day Foundation's website.
