To improve the condition of the roadway by means of selected pavement rehabilitation methods. The storm sewer installation will lessen the frequency of flooding.
This project consists of the rehabilitation of South Yale Avenue from Madison Street to Jackson Street. The project includes the installation of storm sewers. Some selective water system and sanitary sewer system improvements are also included.
The Village's pavement management program has determined that the condition of the street has deteriorated to the point where pavement rehabilitation is needed. This project is to be partially funded by voter approved bond proceeds. The storm sewer was recommended in a previous flood control study.
